After the tedious experiment on having a lowered Toyota Liteace, I’ve discovered that it’s a big mistake on cutting its rear coil springs. It makes the van shaky and uncomfortable. Aiming to bring it back to original, I have to find a pair of stock coil spring, which brought me to a lot of auto supply stores in Manila.
I almost fainted when I found the first store that sells it. It’s P2,350 each. I looked further and got more surprised when another store told me the price, a whooping P10,200 for one piece only!! dafuq men, is that gold?! haha! Having more enthusiasm and a little more energy left, I went for another store, this time I found a brand new and original stock coil spring for my KM30 liteace, and the price? TADAHHHH!!! P7,700 each with a 10% off because the storekeeper says it’s on SALE.
I just went home tired and empty-handed. But I texted a friend of mine about my misery on finding a coil spring.
Whaddyaknow, a few days he texted me that he found a pair of this coil-spring (stock, with a few scratches, never been used) from one of his colleague and it sells for only P2,500! (1 pair) Isn’t that a BARGAIN!!!
The rest is history
