My desktop has a new habitat, I just found Mr. Barry Benson and Adam Flayman (two of the major characters from the movie – Bee Movie (2007) ) lying inside this ukay-ukay store which I regularly visit to look for some cool clothes and sometimes toys. They still look great and their winding system still works! I bought them for less than $2 only, then soon found out that Barry Benson still sells at $7 in Ebay hehe. I regret the day that I missed buying Jack Skellington at the same store by only a few hours. Tsk tsk tsk..

Christmas rush is just around the corner and if you’re like most people, you have yet to finish your Christmas shopping list. Have to find that perfect pair of cuff links for daddy, that stainless steel watch for big brother that he so likes, those pair of pretty pink headsets for the emo little sister and of course that lovely ceramic knife set that your mother is always raving about. Oh…how I wish gift shopping could always be this easy. :p

Its been a long time that I set foot on an Ukay-Ukay store not until last Sunday bago ako mamalengke napadaan ako sa isang sikat na ukayan. With nothing in mind on what to buy, basta na lang ako nag-ikot dun. I remember my mom said something na mejo giniginaw daw sya this Christmas season. That’s the time na naisipan ko syang hanapan ng sweater sa kids section nitong ukayan since my mom is just a small lady.

It took me around 10 minutes before I finally found a nice blue sweater that would perfectly fit my mom.

Then suddenly a small bright orange clothing from the bundle attract my attention. I grab it to check what kind of cloth it was. I found out its made of fleece, its a scarf, and it’s made by GAP, cool!

And what’s more cooler is that it’s kinda unique because it has a zippered pocket on one end. Great to store ID’s and small bills. I’m actually scouting for a scarf to partner with my leather jacket and here it is.

The best part is that I bought the blue sweater and this GAP scarf for only P30. Then found the same scarf at ebay at the cost of $23 inluding shipping. Winner yeah!!!

It’s almost Christmas season and the winds are starting to get cold again. And with the coldness comes, dry skin. With iPod Touch running on second, iPhone on the eight spot, a Blu-Ray player on the 13th and last place was an E-Reader on the 17th. Makes you wonder what the list of christmas gifts for kids 2011 now looks like, doesn’t it?

To all the married man out there, when was the last time you brought home a romantic anniversary gift for your wife? Two years ago? Three? Six?!! Omigosh!

Just got home from Hongkong and was astonished by all the modern metal buildings and infrastracture they have built there, and continously building. The architectural designs were very elegant and stylish, and most of all its futuristic!

I was totally amazed however, that despite their high-tech building technology, they still uses bamboos as their scaffolding. When here in the Philippines, building contractors rely much more on the expensive metal scaffoldings.
